Bucharest is a lively cultural destination. Mercure Bucharest City Center’s ideally setting makes it easy for you to immerse in the local universe. Only a few steps from our elegant 4-stars hotel, you can find great places to visit.

The Athenaeum, the National Art Museum at the Royal Palace and the George Enescu Museum are close by. As you walk down the Magheru Boulevard, you can easily reach the Bucharest National Theatre. Within 10 more minutes, you’re already in the Old Town area. That’s very close to the House of Parliament, Ceausescu’s majestic “People’s House”! By the way, did you know that it is also home to the Contemporary Art Museum? If you’re more of an ethnographic enthusiast, you’ll be happy to see Peasant’s Museum in Victoriei Square. From there, take a pleasant walk on Kiseleff Avenue and you’ll shortly arrive at the Village Museum.

Business

Bucharest’s central business district lays around Victoriei Square and along the Buzesti Avenue. That’s less than 1 kilometer away from our hotel. The business district of Floreasca and Pipera is within reach, an easy 20 minutes ride away. However, you can reach it by public transport, too, either by bus or by metro, from the Romana station. Romexpo, the fairs and exhibitions center, is only 3 kilometers away, on the way to the airport.
