MyRoom by Mercure: A glimpse of Romania

100 years old handcrafted objects evoke the true spirit and values of our traditions. It’s time to enjoy the Romanian authentic design! The main wall of the room features a traditional ancient water mill, along with a genuine, handcrafted tapestry. Guests can see the watermill in reality at the Village Museum of Bucharest.

The coffee corner is adorned with wooden spoons and ceramic, hand-painted mugs. The theme of the room is present in the bathroom as well, with a surprising traditional shoe-shaped toiletries holder.

MyRoom is an internal initiative of Accor which empowers staff to personalize certain rooms in lines with their passions and values. Thus, we offer our guests an authentic experience of the place they visit and a direct connection to the people who work to make their stay memorable.
